Sonesta Executes 23 Franchise Agreements in Q4 2024

Growth Continues Across Nine Brands with 71 Franchised Agreements Executed in 2024

Newton, MA (February 11, 2025) – Sonesta International Hotels Corporation (Sonesta), the 8th largest hotel company in the U.S., today announced the execution of 23 new franchise agreements during the fourth quarter of 2024, representing growth at nine of the company’s 13 distinctive brands.

Sonesta’s continued growth underscores its success in expanding its footprint across the U.S. with a total of 71 executed franchised agreements in 2024. The 23 new franchised hotels agreements in the last quarter are distributed across nine of Sonesta’s brands, including Sonesta ES Suites® (5), Sonesta Essential® Hotels (5),  Americas Best Value Inn® by Sonesta (4), Sonesta Simply Suites® (4), Sonesta Select® Hotels (1), Sonesta Hotels, Resorts & Cruises™ (1), Red Lion Hotel, Inn & Suites™ (1), Signature Inn by Sonesta (1) and The James Hotels (1).
