Sonesta International Hotels Corp. has finalized an agreement with master franchisor GHL to launch Sonesta Hotel Miraflores in Lima, Peru. The 133-room hotel is set to open early in 2025, and will be within walking distance of Kennedy Park, Iglesia Matriz Virgen Milagrosa, Love Park and Lima’s main shopping district.

“We are proud to announce an agreement to open Sonesta Hotel Miraflores, which will be Sonesta’s second property in Lima,” Brian Quinn, Sonesta’s chief development officer, said in a statement. “Sonesta’s strategy of international expansion includes a specialized focus on the LATAM region. We look forward to providing an upscale option for guests traveling the region and further strengthening Sonesta’s reputation within the market.”

The guestrooms are pet-friendly and the hotel includes an on-site restaurant as well as a gym.
